Selichot

There will be a Selichot service on Saturday, September 13, 7 – 9:30 pm in Hollywood. More details to come. RSVP required, no walk-ins permitted for security. RSVP to taoadmin@taocenter.net

Break-the-Fast!

Break the Fast with TAO! Food, music…more food, more music and a lot of chocolate. Join us at Trinity’s Fellowship Hall from 7:30 – 10 pm on October 2, 2025.
Trinity is right in between Cason and “440”, so leave your car parked and walk to Trinity’s Fellowship Hall – North 4th and Swinton.

Sukkot, Shemini Atzeret, Simchat Torah

Our TAO Teens and Hebrew School students will help build our Sukkah at “440”.
Join us for a special Sukkot service with music and light dinner in the Sukkah

Shemini Atzeret: October 14, 2025
We will have a special Zoom session for Shemini Atzeret. Members only.

Simchat Torah: Wednesday, October 15, 2025

Simchat Torah is very special at TAO.
As we celebrate this Holy Day, we unwrap the Torah and where your fingers fall, your portion will be read and translated.
6 – 8 PM at “440”. Parking where available at “440” and Trinity’s Early Childhood Parking lot. Light food and drink.
Members only.

Parking

For any services or meals held at 440 North Swinton Avenue, parking is first at “440” in the back, then either in the Early Childhood Parking Lot behind 440 on the Trinity Lutheran Church property and/or Cason.
Please do not park in the front parking lot at Trinity unless we are given permission from Trinity and don’t worry, we will let you know. Do not park at Trinity if we indicate it is unavailable to us. Security will ask you to move your car.

Help us continue to strengthen our fellowship with our holy neighbors. Please have respect for Trinity’s requests.

Security

We will have armed, uniformed security for every service. Membership includes the Holy Day services and meals, but we need to know if you’re planning to attend.
There are no nametags for services. We will supply different colored bracelets to identify paid members and guests. Ushers at each door will look for the bracelets for you to enter.

Please let us know you’re attending and for which service – CLICK HERE for the simple form. If you do not complete this form, as a member, you will be considered a walk-in, and will have to be manually processed.

We might request you show your ID before entering the Sanctuary if we do not recognize you. We hope to have heard from you about your plans to join us in person so we can best prepare.

Ushers

We will have volunteer ushers to help us. Please note entry to the Sanctuary is restricted when the Ark is open and during Rabbi Marc’s sermons. Doors open 15 minutes before services begin.

Livestream

All services will be livestreamed. Any service in the main Sanctuary will be livestream, not on Zoom, from our website.
All livestream service information and passwords will be shared with current members, and any non-member who has purchased tickets to our Holy Day Services.

New this year! Family Service for children under 10

Children are always welcome to pray, sing and dance with us during service.
If your family would enjoy a shorter family-style service instead, we are planning special family services for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur for families with children under 10.

Bring Your Shofar

Rabbi Marc invites all congregants to bring your shofar to High Holy Day services to participate in the Tekiah G’dola – final blast – to raise our sound to the heavens together.

Tzedakah and Mitzvot

At this most holy of days and Teshuvah, please donate non-expired canned food to donate to Cason United Methodist Church for their Caring Kitchen.

As well, in support of the Homeless Coalition of Delray, TAO and Cason are partnering to collects toiletries all year. Cason has a “Donation Station” to collect items for the Delray Beach Shower Truck. Towels, unopened soap, shampoo, flip flops, and other toiletries are greatly appreciated.
