We are dedicated to inspiring our children with a love of Judaism, empowering them to apply their faith and traditions in meaningful, joyful ways. FROM ALEPH TO AMEN
Tuition: $500
From Aleph to Amen is a meaningful year-long program for children in kindergarten through fourth grade, designed to introduce them to our Jewish prayerbook (Siddur), basic Hebrew, and the rhythms of Jewish life.
Throughout the year, children learn daily, Shabbat, holiday and some Holy Day prayers, the Jewish annual cycle of holidays and celebrations, and the stories behind our traditions—all through engaging, experiential lessons. Each child receives their own personalized Siddur, with their parents and siblings decorating the cover, creating a special connection to their learning. This is your child’s first significant Jewish simcha that they will remember, a celebration of their learning, creating a foundation for their connection to their Jewish life. The program culminates in a heartfelt ceremony, where children are presented with their Siddur under a chuppah of kippot, symbolizing their growing Jewish identity and their place in our community.
In 2025-2026 school year, we will offer formal music lessons and voice lessons for all ages, and a year-long immersion for our first through third graders to learn prayers and receive their first Siddur.
TAO HEBREW SPIRITUALITY SCHOOL
Tuition: $750
Our Hebrew School prioritizes a joy of your child’s Judaism. We teach your son or daughter to read and write Hebrew, learn essential and timeless prayers, and build bonds with each other.
We learn all the elements of a synagogue and contribute to the well-being of the space and gardens. We meet at “440” and explore the weekly Parsha to learn about the Torah, both in stories and with deeper meaning in lessons and worldly concepts. We always have dinner together and connect every week to the upcoming Jewish holiday or celebration. We weave facts and ideas about Israel all year, sprinkled with an historical overview of the modern State of Israel and link it appropriately to current events.
Registration for the 2025-2026 academic year is now open.
BAR AND BAT MITZVAH PREPARATION
Click here for a separate enrollment form just for Bar and Bat Mitzvah students.
From Hebrew School, we continue our journey, and prepare for our Bar and Bat Mitzvah. What is so special about TAO’s program is it is entirely individualized to meet the expectations, creativity, needs and dreams of every family. Preparation takes typically at least a year, and parents hire Rabbi Marc and Paulina for lessons. Rebekah works with students to master Hebrew and can assist in the preparation as requested.
TAO TEENS
Tuition: $1,000
Where our friends meet for fun, conversation, activities, service to our community and leadership development. Best for post bar/bat mitzvah students.
We meet regularly at “440” to engage in deep, meaningful, age-appropriate conversations about topics including “community”, “purpose”, “faith and uncertainty”, “temptation and self-control” and others. We always have food and fun.
We spend most of our time fulfilling meaningful service to the community. We make hundreds of sandwiches for the Caring Kitchen, we clean up the beach, and we sing for community holiday concerts and special national holidays.
TAO has a community teen choir, so every teen in our program participates in holiday concerts and memorial events. Teens learn Krav Maga and receive resilience training. Our teens build our Sukkah, volunteer at events for TAO and attend Shabbat Service. We learn the deeper meanings of our Jewish holidays and celebrations and most of all, we become good friends who can count on each other.
Join us for another stellar year with TAO Teens. 50 Community Service hours, certificate presented in May.
