Temple Adath Or is the southeast’s largest and most active center for Jewish renewal.
Together As One, we find joy and meaning in life, sharing universal truths rooted in Torah, Kabbalah, and other traditional Jewish sources. We are a spiritual community – warm, welcoming, accepting, and dedicated to healing the world.
Meditation, dance, song, and music, present in Judaism throughout the ages, are integral parts of our services.
Steeped in the traditions of our ancestors with a modern-day approach, each service and every Shabbat will leave you feeling connected to your community, your faith, and yourself.
At TAO, we hold people, not prayer books. We use a virtual Siddur and virtual prayer books projected behind the Bima. We invite you to join us, the singing and dancing shul.
We welcome all to weekly Shabbat services, Jewish holiday celebrations, and the Holy Days, replete with spiritual inspiration.
You and your family’s Jewish journey can start at any time with TAO and Rabbi Marc.
From Brit Milah to B’nai Mitzvot preparation and celebration, to Auf ruf and weddings, vow renewals, funerals, unveilings, memorials, and any other life cycle, we are here.
We welcome all families, from every background.
We explore interfaith connection and embrace fellowship with other faiths.
Our Spirituality Hebrew School, TAO Teens and Adult Education Wisdom Classes augment the TAO experience. We continue our connection to each other with Spirituality Groups for women and men, and social events. We offer Bereavement support and a Compassion support group to help cope with life’s most difficult challenges.
We connect to our community with Mitzvah projects and partnerships across South Florida to reflect our commitment to Tikkun Olam. The TAO Unity Volunteers meets once per month on different and impactful projects and offers program support to charities and agencies across South Florida.
We have a running list of specific charities we support every year, and each year, our list grows.
We have special speakers from the arts – visual, musical, performing. We host events during the year to reflect our love for culture and the arts – as a host location for festivals, to showcase artists, for documentary screenings, and to welcome musicians as guests of our renowned TAO Orchestra.
We offer social and fundraising events to grow our community and build support for our mission.
We love Israel. We commemorate Yom Hazikaron, Yom Hashoah, we celebrate Yom Ha’atzmaut, Yom Yerushalayim and light candles every Shabbat with special prayers for Israel. During times of war, we openly discuss Israel with our community and support Israeli local business whenever we are able.
We know how to have fun; we always have food and fun holiday-related events and gifts. We rejoice with our community all year – birthdays, graduations, anniversaries – any simcha gives us reason to celebrate.
TAO is a place which reminds us to love Gd, each other, and the beautiful gift of life.
This is TAO. Welcome Home.
